Avaya and Partners Offer FatPipe's MPVPN

FatPipe Networks Inc.’s MPVPN products have a new go-to-market channel. Avaya and its channel partners will sell them through its DevConnect (News - Alert) Select Product Program.

MPVPN from Fat Pipe is a router clustering device that dynamically balances load over multiple lines and ISPs without the need for BGP programming. It aggregates 10 to 40 gigabits per second of bandwidth to increase network reliability and speed.

This solution is validated compatible with Avaya (News - Alert) Aura Platform 7.0. That means users of the unified communications platform can extend it across their global network using the FatPipe solution. And that helps them eliminate congestion, downtime, jitter, and latency on their applications and network.

The program enables customers to get their Avaya and compatible third-party solutions through a single point of contact. This streamlined ordering is available in the Asia Pacific, CALA, Canada, EMEA, and the U.S. And it’s available to companies regardless of their size or vertical.

Avaya and FatPipe were partners even prior to this announcement. In 2016 they integrated FatPipe’s SD-WAN hybrid networking products with Avaya’s SDN Fx architecture.

Avaya’s SDN Fx enables geo-dispersed sites to interconnect. But SD-WAN allows it to deliver maximum efficiencies, Avaya said. It can automatically detect and reroute a degrading WAN connection. That provides seamless failover of VoIP, video, and data sessions. And it ensures the reliable quality communications and uptime customers require.

“As the first fully integrated unified communications and networking infrastructure, Avaya SDN Fx combined with FatPipe’s SD-WAN solutions help drive improved operating efficiencies that simplify IT operations and result in real cost savings,” said Sanch Datta, CTO and president of FatPipe, a sponsor of the upcoming SD-WAN Expo.

SD-WAN Conference & Expo will take plan Feb. 14 through 16 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. It is the leading event for enterprise executives, service providers, and technology vendors to connect, learn about, and discuss how the SD-WAN market is growing, evolving, and benefitting companies of all kinds.
