Israel-based wireless convergence server provider Convergin today launched a service capability interaction management solution for its Accolade WCS platform.

The new solution enables service providers to deploy application services that act as unified service delivery platforms for wireline, wireless, SIP/IMS and dual mode devices.

“We offer a clearly beneficial path for service providers to evolve their core network and unify the service intelligence around convergence and IMS,” said Convergin CEO Dr. Ayal Itzkovitz in a prepared statement.  “We see service providers excited about the ability to leverage their existing service solutions while placing new, future-compatible platforms and avoiding further investments in current vertical, legacy solutions.

Last month, TMCnet’s Johanne Torres reported that packet networks provider Tekelec agreed to resell Convergin's Accolade platform as part of Tekelec's Real Convergence Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) offering.
