SmartCatalog Announces Sage CRM Compliance

Endeavor Commerce, publishers of SmartCatalog, a guided selling and configuration product for CRM and eCommerce, has announced that their SmartCatalog has been tested and verified compliant with Sage CRM SalesLogix v7 from Sage Software.
Endeavor worked in conjunction with Sage CRM SalesLogix's development team to ensure compliance.
Compliance verification means that "when our customers migrate to Sage CRM SalesLogix v7, they can be assured that their SmartCatalog system will work," said Jamie Riell, Director of Product Development at Endeavor Commerce.
SmartCatalog helps with the quote-to-order entry process, and is pitched to companies that sell complex products and services.
"Since Endeavor Commerce is a Sage Premier Partner, we work closely with them as new versions of Sage CRM SalesLogix go through the development and Beta process," said Chris Reich, Sage CRM Solutions Director of Product Management.
Sage CRM SalesLogix v7 was unveiled at the annual Gartner Customer Relationship Management Summit in Chicago earlier this month.
In late August Endeavor announced the availability of new Web Controls. The company says a new version of the Rule Manager will be released in October.
"Relying on feedback from customers and internal development staff," according to company officials, Endeavor Commerce tweaked Web Controls to allow for simultaneous server and client side processing.
"We did not want to lose the benefits of either processing method," said Jamie Riell, Director of Product Development. "The real benefit is when the clients see a significant increase in performance, which they have. Clients are now experiencing a five-time performance increase with this version."
In July the Dallas-based software vendor announced that it had been named a Premier Solutions Partner by Sage Software. As part of the designation Sage Software, a vendor of accounting and business management software to small and mid-sized businesses, added SmartCatalog for SalesLogix to its price list allowing Sage CRM Solutions business partners to sell the suite of quote and order management products to prospects and customers.
