Deltek, a vendor of enterprise management software, has announced that international engineering services provider the Wilde Technology Group has selected Deltek Vision to "help manage the organization’s growth across four different companies," according to Deltek officials.
The British firm selected Deltek Vision to provide integrated accounting, project management, customer relationship management and resource planning enterprise-wide.
The Wilde Group has provided consulting engineering services to clients ranging from large industrial manufacturers and the defense industry, to property developers and local and national government in projects both in the United Kingdom and overseas.
This past July Deltek announced the acquisition of C/S Solutions, Inc., which sells business intelligence tools for the earned value management marketplace.
The acquisition of C/SSI extended Deltek's presence in the enterprise project management sector by incorporating EVM analytics delivered by C/SSI's wInsight software with Deltek's own advanced EVM engine, Deltek Cobra.
C/SSI wInsight is marketed as a tool for analyzing EVM data from federal contractors, while Cobra is used for managing project costs, measuring earned value, and analyzing budgets, actuals and forecasts.
WInsight basically helps government contractors and agencies in meeting mandated federal project portfolio management and EVM requirements, while providing integration between wInsight and Cobra. C/SSI customers include virtually every aerospace and defense contractor, including market leaders such as Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon.
The acquisition added more than 500 customers to Deltek's existing base of 11,000 clients, including several federal agencies.
