Allied Home Mortgage Chooses Entellium's Hosted CRM

By DAVID R. BUTCHER, Assistant Editor, Customer Interaction Solutions

One of the nation’s largest privately held mortgage brokers today announced that it will standardize its sales operations with Entellium’s CRM solution. Allied Home Mortgage Capital Corporation (Allied) has chosen Entellium’s CRM for use by up to 5,000 associates in more than 600 offices operating in 50 states.

“We wanted a CRM tool that empowers our brokers to spend even more time with customers, and less time with technology,” said Allied CEO Jim Hodge in a company statement. “Entellium gives us a user-friendly, cost-effective solution that will help our brokers accomplish more everyday activities in less time, enhancing the high-touch customer experience we strive to deliver.”

Entellium’s CRM applications are designed to simplify the daily lives of sales, service and marketing employees, providing advanced automation features unique to Entellium. The Seattle, Washington-based company’s recent PRO-Activity Release was based on more than 43,000 hours of usability research, the result being a highly user-centric CRM solution. Additionally, its CRM suite, as Entellium claims, has a lower total cost of ownership than Salesforce.com’s Professional and Enterprise Editions.

Allied handles as many as 12,000 loans per month, and it has more than $50 billion in aggregate loan experience.

“A hosted CRM solution seemed like a natural fit because of our multisite workforce, as well as the ease of maintenance and deployment,” said David Langston, CIO at Allied, in a company statement. “But after reviewing Salesforce.com and other leading hosted solutions, it became apparent that most wanted to put development, deployment and management responsibilities back on my IT department. Deployment across over 600 offices just wasn’t feasible that way.”

Entellium, further noted Langston, offered a simple hosted CRM solution — “a busy CIO’s dream.”

Entellium’s Document Automator automatically sends preformatted and merged documents, such as contracts, proposals, invoices and follow-up materials, to contacts instantly. The company’s Report Automator allows users to configure any report so that it is automatically generated and distributed at certain dates and times — or in specified intervals — in HTML or Excel format; any report is automatically generated and distributed with up-to-the-minute customer data, enabling managers to focus on analyzing the reports, not running them.

“When it came to CRM deployment, they put sales representatives first, because they’re the ones using the solution everyday,” said Entellium CEO Paul Johnston, regarding to his company’s new client. “That’s why it’s our goal to offer the most user-friendly CRM solution on the market.

“CRM still has a long way to go to actually make the lives of sales and service representatives easier, so this is where Entellium will continue to focus its energies. We look forward to working with Allied to make our ‘bottom-up’ approach to CRM work for each and every one of their originators.”

The inked three-year deal is one of the largest in hosted CRM, claims the CRM provider.
