The Federal Communications Commission announced today that its Sept. 15 open meeting will take place at 11 a.m. at BellSouth Telecommunications, Inc.'s Emergency Control Center, 4th Floor, 754 Peachtree St., in Atlanta.

The meeting, which was scheduled to take place in Washington, D.C., will include presentations from FCC staff members and industry representatives regarding their role in Hurricane Katrina recovery efforts.

The FCC changed the meeting's location out of consideration for those who will be testifying.
