To further expedite the efforts by telecommunications providers to restore services in the areas most affected by Hurricane Katrina, the Federal Communications Commission on Thursday released contact information for FCC offices that are providing special emergency authorizations, consultation and other relief.
According to the FCC's press release, FCC personnel can be contacted between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. EST at the following numbers: Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau: (888) 225-5322

The FCC has already granted regulatory relief to telecommunications service providers in the areas affected by Hurricane Katrina, including temporarily lifting restrictions on slamming and waiving numbering rules.
