TMCnet Contributing Editor
Hitachi Consulting, the business and IT consulting company of Hitachi, Ltd., has announced its support for Microsoft (News - Alert) Dynamics CRM 3.0.
Earlier this year, Microsoft awarded Hitachi Consulting Gold Certified status in the Microsoft Partner Program by demonstrating competencies in Advanced Infrastructure, Business Intelligence, Business Process and Integration, Custom Development and Information Worker Solutions.
“We view Microsoft as a strategic partner in the marketplace and are pleased to announce our support and services for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 product,” said Brian Biglin, Microsoft alliance director for Hitachi Consulting.
Hitachi Consulting has more than 100 trained Microsoft professionals and is certified in eight offices nationally – Dallas, Houston, Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Orange, Boston and Atlanta.
Late last month Hitachi Consulting named Joel Hill as its new managing vice president of Global Services. Global Services will have two key areas of focus for Hitachi Consulting, and is comprised of two sub-teams, the Japan Team and the Global Solutions Center Team.
The Japan Team will serve as a bridge to the recently-established Hitachi Consulting-Japan practice.
InsuranceNewslink has reported recently that Hitachi Consulting opened in the UK, Portugal and Spain last month as its “initial foray into Europe.” The industry journal says Hitachi “plans to have business and IT consulting operations in at least five European countries by the end of 2008, according to managing vice president-strategy and M & A, Jim Schuchard, who is also serving as Hitachi Consulting's coo in Europe during 2006.”
