TMCnet VoIP Minute Watch Columnist
Spanlink Communications introduced on Wednesday the Spanlink Managed Services suite, an offering for organizations wanting to manage their VoIP-based Customer Interaction Systems. Spanlink's new service suite includes administration support, remote administration and remote monitoring options.
Spanlink will be showcasing the Spanlink Managed Services suite at the Internet Telephony Conference & EXPO taking place this week at the Los Angeles Convention Center in California.
Spanlink Managed Services "enable businesses to supplement their internal administration resources or eliminate the need for dedicated internal administrators, depending upon their business needs and technical competencies," noted the company's news release.
"Different businesses have different administration needs, but everyone aims for efficiency and effectiveness," said Lowell Johnson, Spanlink vice president of Customer Advocacy. "With Spanlink Managed Services, businesses can take advantage of Spanlink's customer interaction expertise, budget wisely and focus their internal resources on other strategic activities."
With the Spanlink Administration Support feature, businesses are able to purchase pre-paid service hours. The hours supplement in-house administration efforts to ensure proactive system care and access to expert resources and mature processes.
The Spanlink Remote Administration feature would replace a dedicated internal IT administrator. This feature will allow organizations to have their own equipment in-house, because Spanlink remotely manages the entire VoIP system off-premises.
Additionally, the Remote Administration feature allows businesses a "scalable capability to immediately realize the benefits of their VoIP system's features and functions," noted the company's news release.
Finally, Spanlink's Remote Monitoring is an application-aware service that bundles automatic system performance monitoring with early notification to proactively address technical issues.
If you are at IT EXPO, don't forget to stop by booth #331 to meet the guys from Spanlink and see a demo of their products and services!
