IT EXPO News: InVueTel Picks Netcentrex MyCall for Hosted VoIP

TMCnet VoIP Minute Watch Columnist

Voice and video systems provider Netcentrex announced on Thursday it scored a deal from Charlotte, North Carolina-based InVueTel, a hosted IP-based services provider for the hospitality market. InVueTel picked Netcentrex' MyCall and IPlay3 systems in order to deliver IP-based communications and entertainment services for hotels and other lodging industry properties.

Netcentrex made the announcement at the Internet Telephony Conference and EXPO which is taking place this week at the Los Angeles Convention Center in California.

"Our solution is a future-proof way to increase revenue per available room through new IP services and feature-rich services," noted Edwin Westlake, InVueTel CEO. "In addition, our customers will dramatically increase in-room amenities for guests while optimizing staff utilization and cost of ownership."

The move will enable InVueTel to now offer multi-channel video, on-demand, and pay-per-view, high-speed internet connectivity, VoIP-based telephony service, gaming, and e-commerce.

"We are pleased to be a technology partner for InVueTel," said Netcentrex CEO Alain-Fernando Santana. "The bundled, end-to-end, integrated approach is the right strategy for InVueTel to help customers in the hospitality market differentiate in an increasingly technological landscape. Since InVueTel will provide complete service maintenance and control, lodging-based properties can focus on their core business of providing the best experience possible for customers, while enjoying operating efficiencies that immediately improve their bottom lines." IPlay3 partner HighDeal was also selected to provide billing and back office integration.

Netcentrex made news yesterday when it announced it was tapped by VPN de Mexico, a Mexican VoIP service provider, in order to deploy Netcentrex' MyCall to deliver VoIP residential and enterprise services to 25 cities throughout the Mexican country.

The new service will include caller ID, call waiting, caller ID blocking, voicemail, fax, three-way calling, and subscriber features access from any Internet connection through an automated provisioning system provided by Netcentrex. VPN de Mexico will also offer telephony-based legal and medical advisory services for subscribers of its VOXIP offering.

If you are at IT EXPO, don't forget to stop by booth #618 to meet the guys from Netcentrex and see a demo of their services and products!
