Hotels.com is launching a new digital marketing campaign www.hotelgiveaway.com -- to promote their range of hotels, particularly those in the premium category, according to company officials.
Martin Allen, CRM Manager at Hotels.com, said: "This project marks Hotels.com's first viral campaign. We want to see what we can do with the activity to create engaging marketing activity that delivers our marketing messages whilst providing compelling incentives for our users to get involved with the brand."
The viral campaign, which is being supported with extensive banner activity, incorporates interactive "instant win" digital scratch cards designed by digital agency Imano. Users can play the scratch card games once by submitting an e-mail address to receive the Hotels.com e-mail newsletter. By recommending friends, users are given additional chances to win a prize.

Axentis, which sells on-demand governance, risk and compliance management products, and salesforce.com have announced the availability of Insurance Sales Compliance for salesforce.com's AppExchange.
Salesforce.com (News - Alert) customers can now deploy Insurance Sales Compliance as part of their salesforce implementation, "making it easier and faster to manage sales training and ensure compliance and certification requirements," according to Axentis officials.
Robert Hoyt, CEO of Axentis, said using the Insurance Sales Compliance product, "brokers and agents using Salesforce now have access to a comprehensive tool that lets them monitor all key compliance requirements from one platform."

Oracle has announced that Plantronics (News - Alert), a vendor of communication and entertainment headsets, has completed the initial integration of Altec Lansing, acquired by Plantronics in 2005, on the Oracle (News - Alert) E-Business Suite.
Oracle has had a business relationship with Plantronics for more than a decade.
When Plantronics purchased Altec Lansing in August 2005, it wanted both companies standardized on a single instance of the Oracle E-Business Suite. Plantronics deployed Oracle Financial Management, Oracle Human Resources Management System and Oracle Supply Chain Management across Altec Lansing's offices and manufacturing facilities.
