TASKE Technology System Now Rated Avaya-Compliant

TMCnet Contributing Editor

Call management provider TASKE Technology announced this week that its call center management system, the TASKE Contact, is now compliant with IP telephony systems from Avaya.

TASKE Contact allows enterprises to report on inbound, outbound and internal call activity; monitor call center agent performance levels; and provide managers with the ability to respond immediately to changing call volume and agent availability. The application was compliance-tested by Avaya (News - Alert) for compatibility with the company's Communication Manager IP telephony software.

"TASKE Technology is pleased to achieve the recognition in the marketplace of being rated Avaya compliant," said Steve Gray, vice president of sales for TASKE Technology in a statement. "With TASKE Contact, Avaya and its Business Partners are able to provide customers with a single, reliable source for call management and call reporting needs."

The Avaya DeveloperConnection Program is an initiative to develop, market and sell third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology. Avaya provides a number of tools and capabilities to member companies, including Application Enablement Services (AES), a set of application programming interfaces, protocols and Web-based services that make it easier for developers to create Avaya-compatible networks, devices and applications.

"By offering compliance testing to the many innovative companies like TASKE Technology who are members of our DeveloperConnection program, Avaya promotes fully interoperable solutions that help businesses unleash powerful new possibilities," said Eric Rossman, vice president, developer relations and technical alliances, Avaya in a statement. "They are able to use Intelligent Communications to connect employees and customers to information from wherever they are, over whatever device they have available, getting more out of their multivendor network and delivering new value to their bottom line."

Just this Tuesday, Avaya also rated Telrex's CallRex Professional version 3.1 and CallRex Express call recording software as compliant with the company's IP telephony systems.

CallRex Professional and CallRex Express enable small and medium businesses to record calls carried out on IP phone systems for training purposes, dispute resolution or regulatory compliance. The products are compatible with Avaya  IP Office, a converged voice and data system used by small and medium businesses.

"CallRex has long supported Avaya IP Office, and we're excited to introduce an even higher level of integration using an industry-standard interface," said Robert Kapela, president of Telrex in a statement. "Avaya's certification allows resellers to confidently integrate CallRex call recording for their Avaya IP Office customers."
