Tektronix Releases Latest Version of Its VoIP Testing Diagnostics Software

Tektronix, Inc., a worldwide provider of test, measurement, and monitoring equipment, today announced the latest release of its VoIP testing diagnostics software, Spectra2 v4.3.

In a brief press release, Tektronix said that Spectra2 v. 4.3 features the following enhancements:

1. Binary Megaco/H.248 – included in the Capture, Tester and Generator applications.

2. Extended its international protocol support with the addition of "Japan ISUP and Brazil ISUP in the Capture, Tester and Generator applications."

3. Enhanced Large-Scale Load Solution – "Generator application can now produce a 15 percent increase in the number of simultaneous calls, from 12,000 with Release 4.2 to 14,000 with Release 4.3."

4. Failed Call Detection – Version 4.3 can support larger capture files for improved troubleshooting of failed calls that occur during long duration load tests.
