The Telecommunication Systems Division (TAIS TSD) of Toshiba America Information Systems Inc. has announced the availability of SpectraLink’s Link 6020 Wireless Telephone through its authorized dealer network.
SpectraLink’s new Link 6020 is compatible with the Link Wireless Telephone System (Link WTS). The handset integrates with Toshiba ( News - Alert)’s Strata CIX IP Communication system for a complete mobility-enabled voice solution for SMB enterprises.
The new wireless telephone includes several new productivity features such as speakerphone for impromptu conferences, lithium-ion battery packs for talk times up to eight hours, added durability by supporting the IP 53 standard for water and dust resistance, lightweight design and a large display screen.
In a recent press release, Jill Kenney, SpectraLink’s executive VP of sales and marketing, said that wireless telephony helps their customers to enhance employee mobility, responsiveness and productivity.
“Adding SpectraLink's Link 6020 wireless telephone to the Toshiba/SpectraLink offering gives authorized Toshiba dealers and Toshiba customers an ability to further realize a communication system that combines the best of both wired and wireless components expertly configured for their mobility-enabled voice network solution that fits their unique needs,” added Brian Metherell, VP and general manager of Toshiba’s Telecommunication Systems Division.
