Virginia-based 3rd Wave Consulting Services has announced the release of its latest VoIP phone switch product line, called the 3rd Generation Telephone Exchange (3G-TX), designed specifically for small to mid-sized businesses.
The strength of the 3G-TX product line and hosting services is that it is customizable and allows seamless integration of voice mail, call logs, report generation, and e-mail, all at a much lesser cost than that of a typical PBX. This means that not only can all telecommunications needs of an organization be met, but key business applications such as HR and accounting can also be integrated into it. Each 3G-TX product also comes loaded with either a Call Center application or Standard Business application.
Founded in 2000, 3rd Wave Consulting Services main business is in providing technology and management consulting.
“Our customers were eager to take advantage of VoIP technology, but there was no application that would allow them to focus on all of the telecommunications needs from one product line without significant costs to customize the application,” said Michael Conwell, president of 3rd Wave Consulting Services, in a press release. “That is why we have spent the past three years developing and now manufacturing our own product line. Because we are the developers and manufacturers, we are able to provide a much more dynamic product at a far lower price than the market has been able to deliver.”
The 3G-TX product line, which includes two models, the 3G-TX-P and the 3G-TX-R, are also available in a high capacity (HC) model which provides several layers of redundancy.
The 3G-TX-P is a small, portal phone switch ideal for small businesses and virtual/remote teams while the 3G-TX-R is the enterprise or rack mount line. Both the products operate on an open-source platform and may be used as-is or customized to the end-user’s specifications.
