Continuing its shakeup at the top, VoIP, Inc. on Wednesday named David Sasnett as its new chief financial officer.

VoIP, Inc. is a provider of hosted voice-over-IP services.

Sasnett replaces former CFO Osvaldo Pitters, who will remain at VoIP, Inc. as its senior vice president of finance.

Sasnett recently served as president of Secure Enterprises and, in 2004, he was the controller and vice president for Mastec, Inc.  Earlier in his career, Sasnett spent 13 years with Deloitte & Touche.

“[Sasnett’s] caliber of experience is a prerequisite for our eventual move to a more efficient market for our common stock,” said VoIP, Inc. President Steven Ivester in a prepared statement.

Today’s news marks the second announcement regarding the replacement of a major executive in as many days.  On Tuesday, the Fort Lauderdale-based company named B. Michael Adler as its new CEO, replacing Ivester.
