SkyTalk Communications, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Payless Telecom Solutions Inc., has reportedly deployed full VoIP infrastructure in Miami, enabling it to offer the latest in triple-play technology to its customers.

According to a news release, SkyTalk’s sister company, Payless Telephone Company, a CLEC, will offer IPTV, VoIP, Internet data and other services utilizing SkyTalk’s back-bone.

SkyTalk is reportedly working on completing a mirroring system (i.e. redundancy back-up system) which will be located at a secure site in Dallas, Texas. The system will serve as a back-up in the event South Florida is affected by a natural disaster.

SkyTalk has also been focusing on protecting its customers’ confidential information.

“We are utilizing well-known and respected equipment such as Dell, Cisco and OCN Technologies to ensure that this network is a leader in the IP world,” the news release states “Management will continue to make security one of its top priorities and will utilize the latest software and technology available.”

”We are very excited to have completed phase one of our triple-play technology in Florida and will be ready to deploy its services in the first quarter of 2006 giving the consumer the ability to have Voice-over-Internet-Protocol, Internet Data and IPTV, such as Video-on-Demand,” stated, Ricardo J. Canal, president of Payless Telecom Solutions, Inc.

Payless Telecom Solutions, formerly Integrated Telecom Inc., made news earlier this month when it announced that it had become an authorized sub-dealer of T-Mobile’s wireless services.

“Payless will promote T-Mobile cellular services to the public and is currently targeting the Latin and other ethnic markets,” a company news release states. “Payless Telephone Company has started to sell T-Mobile’s Cellar Service and looks forward to very profitable New Year.”

Integrated Telecom announced on Nov. 30 that it had amended its Articles of Incorporation to effect a name change to Payless Telecom Solutions, Inc.

“The change of the corporate identity was important since its subsidiary, Payless Telephone Company, is known throughout the industry and to its current customers,” the company said in a statement. “Accordingly, the Board of Directors chose to change the name to include ‘Payless’ once again.”

Payless Telecom Solutions Inc. and its subsidiaries and acquisitions offer services such as local and long distance phone service, VOiP, WiFi/WiMAX technology and IPTV.
