StayinFront CRM 9.3 Offers Pen-Perfect Integration with Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005

Offering an improved user experience for Tablet PC customers, StayinFront, Inc. has announced StayinFront CRM 9.3, the latest version of its customer relationship management (CRM) application. The new release meets the highest Microsoft pen-perfect standard of integration within the Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 operating system.

 

An enhanced feature of version 9.3 of the StayinFront solution is portrait awareness, which automatically adjusts the screen and application layout when the user selects portrait mode. The new release also offers pen aware search fields, which permit search values to be input directly with the pen. The solution supports electronic signature capture as well, which enables handwritten signatures to be attached to records in the system. It also features factoid aware data entry, which optimizes the effectiveness of handwriting recognition based on the type of data being entered, and note dictation, which lets users verbally dictate directly into notes fields.

The new solution may be utilized by mobile sales professionals like those in the pharmaceutical industry. Tablet PCs are lightweight and equipped with screen-sensitive pens, which are used to point, select and drag data on the screen instead of keyboards. They may also be used to handwrite notes or input data. Pen-perfect integration supports ink interoperability and using the pen as a pointing device. It may also be optimizes for handedness settings, and uses gestures as part of its user interaction model, as well as handwriting recognition.
