MTS Using Alcatel Contact Centre Solutions Across Russia

TMCnet Associate Editor

Alcatel has completed a multi-million euro contract with Russian mobile operator MTS to deliver the provider’s contact solutions, which have been deployed in the largest cities in both Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

According to a news release issued today, Alcatel managed all the relevant phases of the project - from design to installation and commissioning - on schedule. The Alcatel solution supports 2,250 agents across eight macro-regional sites, serving some 41 million MTS customers.

Alcatel’s solution includes its Genesys contact centre software, including Genesys Inbound Voice, a customer interaction management solution that directs customer requests to the best available company agent or resource based on real-time customer information; the Genesys Voice Platform, a software-based Interactive Voice Response (IVR) platform for deploying voice self-service applications; and the Alcatel OmniPCX Enterprise solution, Alcatel’s IP telephony and communications platform for large enterprises.
