Disaster Recovery for the Call Center Focus of Upcoming Webinar
Norwalk, CT, [November 7, 2005] — Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC), in conjunction with Nuasis Corporation, will present a free Webinar discussing new disaster recovery options to help contact centers get up and running immediately following hurricanes or other disasters. The Webinar, titled “A New Look at Disaster Recovery for the Call Center: VoIP Delivers a Better Solution”, will take place Thursday, November 17th at 11:00 am PST.
The call center is mission-critical to many companies. Any extended outage will have a direct and measurable impact on company revenue and customer relationships. These issues have been highlighted by hurricane Katrina and other recent events. This free Webinar helps companies re-evaluate their plans to recover from future disasters.
“When companies cannot communicate with customers, they lose money and customers are done a disservice. Call center continuity planning is essential in every company that speaks directly with their customers. We are proud to be working with Nuasis on this webinar to help educate the world on the importance of system availability in the call center,” explained TMC president Rich Tehrani.
According to Nuasis and as recently experienced by its Gulf Coast-based customers who were directly affected by Hurricane Katrina, VoIP can play an important role in disaster recovery and risk mitigation. With the latest software-based distributed contact routing systems, companies can:
• Ensure ongoing system availability, even during a crisis;
• Support agents in provisional remote locations far from your ACD;
• Easily redirect voice traffic in response to changing needs and resources;
• Flexibly distribute calls to home-based workers and/or third-party contact centers; and
• Deploy redundant system capability at lower cost.
Webinar attendees will find out how Nuasis customers are taking advantage of the NuContact Center's distributed architecture — and how you can similarly protect your company and service customers without business interruptions.
