TMC Launches IMS Magazine


New Publication Uncovering Opportunities for Service Providers to Take Advantage of IP Multimedia Subsystems Architecture Debuts in February 2006

Norwalk, CT, November 18, 2005 — Today Technology Marketing Corp. (TMC) announces the launch of IMS Magazine.

According to TMC president and Group Editor-in-Chief Rich Tehrani, the mission of IMS Magazine is to teach the service provider community about the massive opportunities afforded them in the move to IP Multimedia Subsystems based architectures.



“IMS Magazine will focus on wireless and wireline opportunities as well as the intersection of the two. As I see it, there are few opportunities in the telecom market like IMS. As service providers continue to seek ways to provide advanced services while reducing provisioning and deployment costs, they must act quickly to stay ahead of an increasingly competitive telecom environment. The investment these carriers make in IMS today will quickly turn to profit tomorrow,” explained Tehrani.

Tehrani continued, “While IMS has the potential to drastically simplify the way providers provision and deploy new services, getting there will take much education, evangelizing and a focus on success stories in the market. Expect IMS Magazine to focus on these issues. In this way, IMS Magazine aims to be the primary resource to which service providers turn when deploying next-generation networks.”


Each issue of IMS Magazine will focus on the important news and events happening in this rapidly growing market. The magazine will also focus on case studies and deployments in the real world and the latest services on the market. In addition, readers can expect targeted editorial enabling them to make better purchasing decisions.

“It is our goal to make the editorial environment of the magazine an essential read for the most important buyers in the market,” added Tehrani.

This latest addition to the TMC family of publications will be available in print in the United States and digitally elsewhere. IMS Magazine will be published bi-monthly in 2006, beginning with the premier issue in February.
