Call recording solutions provider Envision Telephony today announced that it has been named to Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 Program for Washington State, a ranking of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in the area by Deloitte & Touche LLP. Rankings are based on the percentage revenue growth during a five year span from 2000 to 2004. Envision’s growth was 67 percent, placing it at Number 37 in the ranking.

To arrive at the Fast 50 lists, which are determined by geographical region, Deloitte also looks at the quality of the management team, competitive leadership, market size and potential, and overall financial strength. According to Deloitte, it takes "leadership, excellence, a solid foundation for growth."

“Envision built its reputation as a company that delivers for our customers,” said Rodney Kuhn, Envision CEO. “Our revenue growth can be attributed to the brightest people in the industry developing innovative products, a driven sales organization building long-lasting customer relationships and a service organization constantly challenging us to generate better processes.”

Envision’s increase in revenues of 76 percent from 2000 to 2004 resulted in a tie for a 36 ranking in the Technology Fast 50 for Washington State. The average increase in revenue among companies who made the Technology Fast 50 for this region was 70 percent.

“Deloitte’s Washington State Technology Fast 50 companies have shown the strength, vision and temerity to succeed in today’s very competitive technology environment,” said Larry Hile, a partner in Deloitte’s Seattle office. “We applaud the successes of Envision and acknowledge it as one of the very few to accomplish such a fast growth rate during the past five years.”

To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2000 and $1,000,000 in 2004, be headquartered in Washington and be a “technology company,” defined as a company that owns proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology in a unique way does not qualify.
