AT&T�s Eric Shepcaro to Keynote at TMC INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO East 2006

Eric Shepcaro, vice president of business strategy and development for AT&T Inc., will deliver a keynote address today during the TMC INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO East 2006. The event is being held Jan. 24-27 at the Broward County Convention Center in Ft. Lauderdale Fla.

Shepcaro’s address, "Industry Perspective: Next Generation Services," will begin at 4:45 p.m., EST. The keynote is open to all registered attendees and will address next-generation IP communications and collaboration services, including services over IP. INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO, held since 1999, is the world’s largest and best-attended VoIP trade show. His team led AT&T’s entry into utility- based computing services.

In March 2004, he assumed the responsibility as the overall transformation officer for AT&T, accountable for programs to build shareholder value and create a framework for the future. These include: network transformation, converged services and business simplification.
