Citizens of China will be able to satiate their desires to see more NBA basketball this season with a new, temporary, web-based video-on-demand service.

The new VoD service is being made possible through a partnership between NuSports and the NBA. The partnership will enable NuSports to broadcast live video webcasts and VoD of NBA games in China via its website at
www.nusports.cn.

The NBA programming will only be available for the remainder of the 2005-06 season. Fans will have access to 42 live webcasts and VOD of NBA games - including 30 regular season and 12 Playoff games, along with 20 NBA classic games. The service is free.

According to a
news release, the games will be called in Mandarin by experienced NBA broadcasters. Games will remain on the site for 24 hours for fans to view on-demand.

In addition, special programming including “NBA Action,” a half-hour weekly program featuring top NBA video highlights of the week, will also be available, as will live webcasts of 2006 WNBA games.

NuSports will also be offering a free on-line NBA fantasy game in China, allowing fans to be a general manager and create their own teams. Real-time statistics, statistical leaders, scores, player statistics, transactions and injury reports will be provided in conjunction with the fantasy game.
