New Version of MobileAccess is Compatible with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0

Vancouver, BC-based TenDigits Software has released a new version of its MobileAccess software which is compatible with the new Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0.

MobileAccess – which is TenDigit’s flagship product –enables sales, service and management teams to have instant access to account information anywhere, anytime, through their BlackBerry handheld device.

“We’re really taking advantage of the improvements that Microsoft has made with its new Dynamics CRM 3.0,” stated Sean Gocher, president of TenDigits Software, in a press release. “Most significant is our support for custom entities, and our new resources functionality.”

“Support for custom entities” means mobile workers can access and update almost any field in the CRM system using a BlackBerry – and the new “resources function” allows an organization to tie web services directly into the MobileAccess application.

As standard features, MobileAccess comes with appointment preparation tools such as MSN for corporate news, weather and stock reports, as well as Microsoft MapPoint support for mapping and routing information.

Gocher said very often “CRM implementations fail because they don’t focus enough on delivering real value and productivity for frontline users.” But Mobile Access creates a much richer user experience, which increases adoption and utilization. The end result is increased productivity.

“With most sales people relying on performance-based compensation and incentives, even modest improvements in efficiency can have dramatic improvements in both personal and corporate performance – improving a sales person’s likeliness of adopting the solution, and improving an organization’s chance of capitalizing on their CRM investment,” Gocher said.

TenDigits sells the MobileAccess solution almost exclusively through its partner channel.

Mark Watts, VP of business development for TenDigits Software, said while the company’s primary focus is working with system integrators and CRM consultants, “we are also attracting considerable interest from partners who are using Dynamics CRM to building vertical solutions for key industries such as financial services, government, professional services, construction and property management and logistics.”

“Many of these vertical solutions providers are looking for cost-effective and timely solutions that will allow them to ’mobilize’ their solution,” he said.

In other news, Microsoft Corp. recently featured TenDigits in a case study about its use of Microsoft’s new Partner Channel Builder tool. TenDigits is reportedly the first company to be profiled by Microsoft for its use of the tool.

Through Channel Builder, TenDigits has worked with many of the 4,000 companies around the world selling Microsoft Dynamics CRM to build joint customer solutions.

Gocher said the partner channel is “very important” to the company because it sells almost exclusively through partners.

“In fact, our corporate decision to be an ISV solution provider for Dynamics CRM stems largely from Microsoft's channel-focused corporate strategy,” he said.

Partner Channel Builder has allowed TenDigits to introduce MobileAccess to many qualified partners and opportunities.
