CRM and Relationship Management Software News - OmniTI, Mimosa, Aldon, WebTrends

TMCnet Contributing Editor

News items from the world of relationship software:

OmniTI Computer Consulting Inc., a vendor of e-mail infrastructure products and services, today announced the appointment of Erin Jackson as Director of Marketing.

Jackson will be responsible for spearheading the company's marketing initiatives, building and maintaining strategic partnerships and increasing the company's overall presence within the email marketing, Internet Service Provider and corporate communities.

Jackson comes to OmniTI with 18 years of results-driven experience in marketing, customer relationship management (CRM) and business development.

Mimosa Systems, Inc., an information management vendor, today announced that Virtua Health, a multi-hospital healthcare organization in Southern New Jersey, has selected Mimosa NearPoint as part of its strategic technology program "aimed at creating state-of-the art inpatient and ambulatory facilities," according to hospital officials.

Virtua Health has implemented Six Sigma, among other approaches, to improve patient care and satisfaction while also increasing employee productivity. E-mail is at the center of all electronic communications and the backbone of business processes for its 8,900 medical and administrative staff members.

Aldon, a vendor of enterprise software configuration and change management products, today announced that Nintendo of America Inc. has selected Aldon Lifecycle Manager to manage the development of corporate applications spanning its multi-platform enterprise.

With Aldon Lifecycle Manager, Nintendo hopes to get greater control over the application development lifecycle, increase developer productivity, ensure regulatory compliance and centralize its IT organization, according to company officials.

Nintendo will standardize on Aldon Lifecycle Manager across several key internal corporate applications, "creating a unified environment for developers working on multiple applications and multiple platforms," Aldon officials say. Developers will be able to work in parallel, on different parts of an application or on the same part, supporting concurrent developer production while detecting and managing conflicting changes.

WebTrends Inc., a web analytics and Marketing Performance Management products vendor, today announced the signing of a preferred OEM agreement with Business Objects, a business intelligence products vendor.

The deal involves integrating interactive visual analytics from Crystal Xcelsius directly into the WebTrends Marketing Lab product family. T

he resulting Performance Dashboards -- available in WebTrends Analytics 8 and WebTrends Marketing Warehouse at no additional cost -- are, WebTrends officials say, "the web analytics industry's only integrated Crystal Xcelsius-based performance management dashboards," letting users monitor real-time Key Performance Indicators against their goals and pose predictive "what if" scenarios to identify acquisition and conversion strategies that will help ensure those targets are met.
