Vodafone Selects PCTELs Roaming Client Software for 3G Deployment

Mobile service provider Vodafone has selected PCTEL's Roaming Client software to be used as one of its 3G connectivity management software solutions, the companies announced today.

 

PCTEL simplifies mobility across 3G, VoIP and Wi-Fi networks with easy-to-use features, serving consumers, enterprises, wireless access providers, integrators and manufacturers. The Roaming Client Software includes support for HSDPA, UMTS, GPRS and WiFi (News - Alert) and, according to the release,  has been customized to include Vodafone specific features which include local language variants and branded as Vodafone Mobile Connect.
