Vangard Introduces AccuSPEECH for Microsoft Enterprise Applications

Vangard Voice Systems Inc., has released the AccuSPEECH solution that integrates speech into applications, both native and Web-based, running on Microsoft Windows operating systems.


 
The AccuSPEECH solution provides the critical development layer of connectivity between any major voice recognition engine and the application. This capability enables voice input for data in forms on mobile devices, turning speech into information at the point of action.


 
Windows application developers can use the new patented application from Vangard to embed speech into the application through a graphic development tool set, allowing companies to use voice as a data input method for almost any application.
 
The AccuSPEECH suite of development tools reportedly allows constructing the interface between the speech recognition engine and the application as well as addition of hundreds of lines of code to be done in a matter of hours or days.
 
“According to industry analysts at IDC, the mobile workforce is projected to reach more than 878 million worldwide by 2009, and by enabling our toolkit on Microsoft (News - Alert) operating systems, we can significantly extend the opportunities for voice-enabling applications in a wide range of markets worldwide ,” said Bob Bova, CEO and president of Vangard Voice Systems Inc. in a press release.
