Time Matters 8.0 and Billing Matters 8.0, the newest versions of the company’s practice management and billing software packages.
By integrating with Adobe Acrobat Reader, LexisNexis Time Matters 8.0 automatically saves attachments from Outlook emails and provides for every record type AutoTXT shorts intended to increase accuracy and speed.
Now shipping with full back office accounting features, LexisNexis Billing Matters 8.0 is designed to enhance user mobility with new support for Windows Mobile 5.0 and Windows Mobile Smartphone. Time Matters ad Billing Matters will also support Palm PDA and Blackberry® wireless handhelds, featuring the ability to send billing entries from these devices.

LexisNexis recently acquired CaseMap and as a result, Time Matters links directly with the solution, allowing attorneys to send matters, contacts, research information and more for trial preparation and analysis. Integration with NetDocuments from LexisNexis is also new to this version. NetDocuments delivers full document management as an online service.
Time Matters will also link with a range of practice tools, such as LexisNexis PCLaw, LexisNexis HotDocs document automation software, Shepard’s CheckCite and Shepard’s Link brief drafting tools, Microsoft (
