Sangoma's David Mandelstam to Address INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & Expo, WEST

TORONTO [Oct. 4, 2006] – TMC, the organizers of the INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & Expo, WEST, has announced that Sangoma (News - Alert) Technologies’ president/CEO David Mandelstam, will address delegates on “Extending OpenPBX Architecture for Scalable Enterprise Media Gateways.”

To be held at 1:15 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 10, Mandelstam’s session will discuss the real trends that SMBs and enterprises are now beginning to follow, such as the rising adoption of PC-based/open source PBX (News - Alert) solutions.

“There exists a new breed of Open PBXs/Switches such as Asterisk (News - Alert), FreeSwitch, and Yate that are pushing the boundaries of Open Source telephony,” Mandelstam said. “My presentation will discuss the main trends behind the migration from TDM to IP in the enterprise, and how this impacts voice solutions. I will also explore the transition that's occurring from hardware-based to software-based and what's behind it.”


Mandelstam’s address is open to all registered attendees.
