CGS Acquires Romanian Call Center Solutions Company
TMCnet Contributing Editor
Computer Generated Solutions, Inc. (CGS) has acquired EasyCall, a Bucharest, Romania-based call center solutions provider.
The 600 plus employees of EasyCall provide outsourced technical support and call center services. The company provides application expertise and multi-language capabilities, including English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
Under the agreement, EasyCall’s management team, and all current operations and employees will remain in place.
According to Phil Friedman, president and CEO of CGS, the acquisition of EasyCall and its diverse call center capabilities will complement the U.S.-based technical support and helpdesk services of CGS.
“A major step in our global growth strategy, the move expands our presence in the European community and reinforces our commitment to providing consistent, reliable support to our multinational customers. It also opens new opportunities in the BPO space,” said Friedman in a press release.
Vladimir Sterescu, general manager of EasyCall said that since both companies share a customer-focused approach, their combined resources will enhance their global support service offering.
CGS will reportedly open new call and software development centers in Romania in 2007.
Headquartered in New York City, CGS has call centers in Atlanta, Tampa, Dallas and Edison, New Jersey. CGS centers provide end-to-end solutions and offer experienced consultants in virtually any technology platform.
