CRM news announced recently:

Altien has announced the availability of Altien Document Manager on the IBM (News - Alert) WebSphere Information Integrator Content Edition platform. Altien and IBM will jointly market the new product worldwide.

The IICE provides a "single, bidirectional interface to numerous data sources," according to IBM officials, including content management and workflow systems from IBM and other vendors including FileNet, EMC (News - Alert) Documentum, Hummingbird, Microsoft (News - Alert), Open Text, Oracle (News - Alert), Stellent and CRM applications.

Altien is pitching the product as an answer to the problem of enterprise document management -- "enabling users to participate without disrupting the way they do their work," company officials say. ADM is an out-of-the-box application marketed to knowledge workers such as managers, administrators, lawyers, accountants, analysts, salespeople, consultants and engineers.

The ADM web client uses Ajax technology to deliver usability, together with the rapid deployment benefits of a zero-download browser application.

Talisma Corporation, which sells "Customer Interaction Management," would like you to know that it has signed 61 new customers in the fiscal quarter ending September 30, 2006, which raises the company's new customer count in 2006 to over 200 worldwide.

The new companies to join Talisma's expanding customer list include Act II Jewelry LLC (Lia Sophia), Centennial Wireless, Datacore, Dura Automotive, ICT Group, Mazda, Mobile 365, Scholastic, Inc., See's Candies, Speakeasy, Sutherland Global Services, and the University of Notre Dame.

Citrix Systems (News - Alert), Inc., a vendor of application delivery infrastructure products, has announced it has achieved integration validation for the Citrix NetScaler System and Citrix Access Suite with Oracle's PeopleSoft Customer Relationship Management (CRM) 9 and PeopleSoft Tools 8.48, via the Oracle PartnerNetwork Application Integration Initiative.

This milestone, Citrix officials say, "demonstrates Citrix's commitment to meet Oracle customer needs."

CDC Software, a wholly owned subsidiary of Chinese-owned CDC Corporation, has announced today that its Pivotal customer relationship management (CRM) product was named to the SecuritiesTech 50, an annual global listing of the top vertical technology vendors providing front-office products, published by Securities Industry News.

Pivotal CRM was ranked 19th overall and Pivotal, a division of CDC Software, was also listed as part of the “Fast-Five” section, a subset of the Top 50 which categorizes the fastest-growing companies on that list.
