Inter-Tel Exec Jeff Ford to Keynote INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO East 2006
NORWALK, CT (Jan. 9, 2006) -- Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC®) announces today that Jeffrey T. Ford, Division President and Chief Technology Officer of Inter-Tel Incorporated, has agreed to deliver a keynote address at its INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO East 2006, which is scheduled for January 24-27, 2006 at the Fort Lauderdale–Broward County Convention Center.
Mr. Ford’s address, which is open to all registered attendees, will take place Friday, January 27th at 11:30am EST. Registration for the conference is now open at http://www.itexpo.com.
INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO, held since 1999, is the world’s largest and best-attended VoIP trade show. Last October, TMC’s INTERNET TELEPHONY attracted over 7,000 buyers and sellers of IP Telephony products and services. For this upcoming January show, TMC projects total attendance to exceed 8,500.
Mr. Ford began his career with Inter-Tel in 1983, while still in his senior year at Arizona State University. Beginning in 1996, Mr. Ford led Inter-Tel's entry into convergent technology with patented VoIP technology. Mr. Ford’s work progressed through engineering management and, in 1997 he was named Chief Technology Officer. In 1998, he was additionally named president of Inter-Tel Integrated Systems, Inter-Tel’s development, production and wholesale distribution arm.
