Vodafone Partners with YouTube

TMCnet Contributing Editor

European mobile services giant Vodafone has announced a new partnership with Google’s (News - Alert) YouTube, a popular online video sharing service.

The new service will be launched in UK and will instantly enable Vodafone users to view, upload and share their video using their mobile phones. They will also have access to hundreds of videos provided by YouTube and its members.

Vodafone unveiled its deal with social networking site MySpace last week. This allows Vodafone users to access MySpace using their cell phones. In addition, it also partnered with eBay (News - Alert) to enable Vodafone users to sell and shop online without the need for computer.

Vodafone aims to provide their customers with services that used to be available on computers alone.
