Kyivstar Interconnects with iBasis for International Routing Portfolio

Kyivstar, Ukraine mobile operator, is interconnecting with iBasis (News - Alert) Inc., a provider of international IP telephony to meet the needs of Ukraine’s growing telecommunication market. Through this interconnection, Kyivstar will be able to route its international voice traffic over iBasis Network.


 
iBasis delivers high quality and cost-effective Internet voice services to more than 100 countries through its global VoIP network. Kyivstar is taking advantage of iBasis international routing portfolio and its PremiumCertified service to provide customers quality and stable connection.
 
Ofer Gneezy, president and CEO of iBasis, is very pleased with the interconnection and commented in a statement to the press, "The migration of international voice traffic to mobile networks is one of the major trends in global telecommunications today.
