XO Launches Alternative Network Campaign Targeting Service Providers and Businesses

XO Communications (News - Alert), a large CLEC based in the United States, has launched a campaign to offer an appealing alternative network solution to address clients’ growing demand for higher network bandwidth and competitive prices. This campaign is XO’s strategic move to attract more clients from switching services at the height of company mergers.


 
The campaign offers carriers, content providers, wireless companies, and large enterprises the ability to take advantage of XO’s suite of inter-city and metro network solutions that include IP transit, Ethernet, and wavelength services.
 
In line with this campaign, XO introduced Guarantee Programs to surpass existing offers from another telecom companies providing high-capacity network services. The guarantee programs include:
 
Best Price Guarantee: XO will be offering lower price for 2.5 Gbps and 10 Gbps wavelength services on selected major XO network routes.
 
Install Guarantee: XO guarantees to install the necessary equipment to agreed date or the company will issue a free month service to the client. 
 
90-day Risk Free Trial Guarantee: XO allows clients to try its IP Transit Service for 90 days without contract nor commitment. If the client is not satisfied in anyway, he/she will only be billed for the time used within the trial period.
 
Ernie Ortega, president of XO Carrier Services, confirmed that the company is taking necessary steps to meet the anticipated overwhelming response from their target market.
 
"As a result of customer demand and success we have seen thus far, XO has taken additional actions to meet growing demand for high-bandwidth network services," he said. "Demand is also increasing as carriers, service providers and large enterprises are looking for new providers in the face of industry consolidation. With our extensive nationwide and metro networks, XO offers customers an extremely attractive alternative."
 
XO Communication has recently completed its next-generation network that spans about 18,000 route miles and connects 75 cities. The new XO long-haul network increased capacity delivers 10 Gbps high-speed transport services to meet the demands of wholesale customers and businesses for increased bandwidth. In addition, the company deployed digital optical technology that allows XO to upgrade or provision customer circuits quickly.
