Verso Technologies (News - Alert), a supplier of  next generation network solutions has announced that leading broadband wireless provider ONEMAX is going to deploy its I-Master Solution.

ONEMAX is reportedly the first private-sector operator providing Internet, multimedia and VoIP services over mobile WiMAX in the Dominican Republic. The I-Master Solution will allow ONEMAX to strengthen its market position by facilitating the authentication and rating of voice and data services.

ONEMAX will be able to offer not only greater access to its services but also an improved payment system. Most significantly, it will be able to offer the prepaid billing model.

Using the I-Master Solution, service providers are able offer a range of new services with different billing models like prepaid and limited-credit. It is through these enhanced services that service providers boost their revenues. The converged solution enables combined Internet access, on-demand data and voice services. In addition, it also allows service providers to offer enhanced promotion and bonus-based customer loyalty programs.

“These capabilities translate into a simplified experience for end users and lower operational overhead. End users will be able to purchase recharge or 'Top Up' cards from a local convenience store, and easily transfer funds to their accounts via several interfaces, such as a customer web self care or Interactive Voice Response (IVR). This distribution model also means ONEMAX will not need to staff offices to facilitate receiving payments from users,'' said Steve Odom, chief executive of Verso Technologies, in a statement.

“Verso was unique in offering an IP billing solution with so many rating features, as well as the ability to offer converged voice, data and content all within a prepaid model,'' said Raoul Fontanez, CEO of ONEMAX, in a statement. “This, coupled with the strong personalization features which drive customer loyalty and support retention, as well as the ability to offer an array of bundled service plans, made Verso and the I-Master the clear choice among the competitive products we evaluated.
