Zi Corporation to Showcase Innovative Technology in Japan

Zi Corporation, a familiar player in the intelligent interface solutions space, has announced that the company will showcase its innovative, multi-language software portfolio at ACCESS DAY 2007 in Tokyo on October 19. The demonstration is a part of Zi’s strategy to increase its presence in the Asian telecom market.
Organized by ACCESS CO  ., LTD, ACCESS DAY 2007 is an annual affair for customers and partners. ACCESS manufactures advanced technologies for the mobile and beyond-PC markets. Zi Corporation will act as a representative of Orange and will be in the company of NEC Electronics Corporation, Omron Software, Qualcomm ( News - Alert), Texas Instruments, and Marvell Japan, among others
During the event, Zi Corporation will exhibit its pioneering text entry solutions eZiText and Decuma for the Japanese market. It will also demonstrate the functioning of the software on mobile devices, PDAs and games consoles.
“We have been working with ACCESS since 2006 and have found the agreement to have particular strategic significance for Zi, as ACCESS Linux Platform has opened up new business channels and expanded our reach in the smartphone and wireless device markets. As an ACCESS Connect Ecosystem partner, this event is an important opportunity that allows us to further promote our company to the Japanese market,” commented Milos Djokovic, President and CEO of Zi Corporation.
Later this month, Zi Corporation will again showcase its line of products in association with ACCESS at PT EXPO COMM China 2007 to be held from October 23–27 in Beijing. This time Zi will share the stage with 800 other exhibitors including the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance, China Mobile ( News - Alert), and China Telecom.
