Communications Solutions 2007 Product of the Year Awards Call for Entries
TMCnet News
Norwalk, CT (February 25, 2008) - Technology Marketing Corporation has announced that it is accepting entries for its 2007 Product of the Year Awards presented by its Web site Communications Solutions through March 17, 2008.
“As the leading media company covering communications technology, it is TMC’s ( News - Alert) responsibility to recognize outstanding achievements by industry leaders and help them differentiate themselves from their competition,” said Nadji Tehrani, chairman and CEO of TMC.
As Tehrani explained, “Companies that win the awards gain a competitive advantage because their product or service has been validated through a highly credible third-party source, giving them greater recognition.”
Winners not only receive a handsome plaque, they are also permitted to use the award logo in conjunction with the winning product or service, thus differentiating it in the marketplace. In addition, winners will be announced on the Communications Solutions Web site in April 2008. Each announcement will include a short description of the product, as well as biographical information about the company that submitted it.
A company can enter multiple products, and win multiple awards; however, a separate entry form is required for each product submitted. Each product or service must have come out in 2007 (new versions and upgrades will be considered). Each product or service will be judged separately.
The Communications Solutions Product of the Year Awards are given for a wide range of innovative products and services that facilitate voice, data and video communications, or any combination thereof. However, there are no separate categories. Products that will be considered include recently introduced hardware, software, add-ons, peripherals, and services. All products and services must be geared for one or more of the following industry segments: telecom, IP communications, call center, CRM, service provider offerings, developer services, reselling, and networking. Wireless products (including cell phones, PDAs, and smartphones) and services will also be considered. Again, each submission must be a product or service that is currently available and that can be presented as a distinct offering.
The deadline for submissions is March 17, 2008.
