Siperian, Inc., a provider of Master Data Management (MDM) solutions and Informatica Corporation, an independent provider of data integration solutions, today announced that it’s has joined INFORM, Informatica’s worldwide partner program.
The alliance is designed to help the companies use a unique MDM solution that combines Siperian’s MDM Hub with Informatica’s data integration, data quality and matching capabilities to create reliable, unified views of customers, products and suppliers from distributed data sources, according to the companies.
Both companies have also reaffirmed their OEM relationship resulting from Informatica’s recent acquisition of Identity Systems – a move they say is designed toensure uninterrupted service and upgrades to Siperian MDM Hub customers.
Welcoming Siperian as an INFORM partner, Harry Gould, senior vice president of Worldwide Alliances at Informatica, said that Siperian MDM Hub and Informatica’s offerings are completely complementary as evidenced by their numerous successful joint customers.
“We look forward to a continuing, strong partnership together,” Gould said.
Ken Hoang, founder and chief technical officer of Siperian, expressed his company’s excitement to join the INFORM partner program, as the combination of Siperian and Informatica technologies has always proven to be a great fit for their customers. He added that their customers will continue to benefit from Informatica’s investment in best-of-breed matching technology.
Siperian, Inc. officials describe their company as an innovative provider of a flexible master data management platform that helps companies unify their critical data about customers, products and organizations, and delivers reliable, complete views of this data within existing business processes.
Informatica Corporation says it’s an independent provider of enterprise data integration software and services. It helps companies gain greater business value by integrating all their information assets from across the enterprise, company officials say. The company recently announced the first comprehensive, unified, and open platform for data integration, Informatica 8.6.
The new version delivers new product and Software-as-a-Service offerings including PowerCenter RealTime Edition, on-demand Data Loader Service, B2B Data Exchange, and DataQuality with identity resolution.
According to Sohaib Abbasi, chairman and chief executive officer of Informatica, by using a comprehensive platform delivering timely and trustworthy data, customers can gain a competitive advantage, while mitigating risks, in today’s information economy.
