Particular technologies he has supported or focused on include convergence applications, VoIP, LAN switching, PBX (News - Alert), ATM, wireless LANs, VPN, routers, business process routers, AS2 and UCCnet item synchronization services among others.

 

Currently, Brockmann is the President of Brockmann & Company, a high-tech marketing consulting company. Clients are able to accelerate their growth through thought leadership and insight into markets, channels and positioning. Prior to forming Brockmann & Company, Brockmann was the Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Development for FirstHand Technologies, an innovator in mobile VoIP software. Brockmann facilitated a rebranding, repositioning and refocusing of the company that led to a successful C round of investment by Canadian venture capitalists.
