Sage Software ( News - Alert), a vendor of ERP, CRM, and HRM products to medium and large organizations, today announced the availability of the latest version of its enterprise software suite, Sage ERP X3, formerly known as Adonix X3.
The product is being released by the Sage Group in 35 countries to address companies in the enterprise manufacturing sector, including companies in the Middle East, according to Sage.
Marc Van der Ven, managing director at Sage Software ME, said the new release’s international customer base “is the best guarantee for our customers to benefit from more and more R&D investment over the coming years. We are pleased that we can now offer such extensive automation products to our manufacturing clients in the Middle East.”
The manufacturing sector is said to be one of several major economic sectors beside construction, trading and services on which the Middle East region is counting for its drive of economic diversification.
Sage ERP X3 v5 is engineered to integrate an enterprise’s information and business processes within one single software system and database, according to the company.
The system manages finance, sales, inventory, CRM, purchasing and manufacturing operations globally and streamlines an enterprise’s processes, officials say. The information propagates in real time to all parts of a business: an issued order has an impact on stock levels, production, accounting, and so on, they say.
The Sage ERP X3 is designed to handle planning, scheduling and production control activities for either process or discrete manufacturing, and to adapt to different manufacturing modes, including make-to-order, configure-to-order, assemble-to-order, make-to-stock and mixed-mode environments. The manufacturing module is fully integrated with the Sales, CRM, Purchasing, Inventory and Finance components.
In June Sage announced the launch of Sage Pro ERP 7.5, the latest version of the company’s business management product for small and medium-sized businesses.
Version 7.5 includes many of what Sage officials say are “user-requested features,” providing tools to “improve business productivity and provide easier access to business information.” Expanded drilldowns in reports are now available, with more customer and vendor maintenance access added to an updated dashboard.
Integration with Sage Payment Solutions is also now offered for handling of customers’ credit card payments. The manufacturing modules in Sage Pro ERP 7.5 have been simplified with time-saving features.
“Sage Pro ERP 7.5 continues this product’s heritage of serving the needs of SMBs who demand a customizable ERP system,” said Sam Hunter, Sage Software senior vice president and general manager. “It’s a flexible and customizable system available at an attractive price point.”
