BigMachines Inc., a provider of on-demand configuration and proposal software, has announced that Kodak’s ( News - Alert) Graphic Communications Group has successfully deployed BigMachines software.
This latest deployment for Kodak was in effort to bring order and efficiency across multiple sales teams. The BigMachines solution is integrated into Kodak’s Oracle ( News - Alert) CRM On Demand application.
After certain acquisitions, Kodak faced the dilemma of disparate sales processes in dispersed units. The company needed to integrate different units into one consistent sales process and turned to BigMachines for the right solution.
“All units had different processes, yet were selling to the same customers,” said Mark Moran, Global Sales Operations Director, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group, in a Monday statement.
“BigMachines was the only vendor that proposed a flexible solution that fit our complex model and, just as important, could integrate seamlessly into our Oracle CRM On Demand and SAP ( News - Alert) ERP systems. With the BigMachines solution in place, we are now able to present a single face – one look and feel – for our integrated solutions to any customer.”
“It is through your dedication and commitment to excellence that we have successfully launched a best in class, integrated sales force automation tool,” said Aron Dror, vice president, Global Service and Operations, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group, in Monday’s statement. “We have just made our already best in the industry sales force even better.”
Godard Abel, CEO of BigMachines, added in the statement, “We are pleased that Kodak is already seeing significant cost savings and process improvements from BigMachines, including better sales forecasting and shorter sales cycles.”
