I.M. Group Selects SmartFOCUS Solutions for its CRM Initiative

smartFOCUS, a multi-channel marketing software company has announced it is providing a consolidated solution to I.M. Group, a UK-based European automotive importer for building a core customer database.
 
 
The solution will help the company in strengthening brand relationships that customers and dealers have with its partners including Subaru, Daihatsu and Isuzu.
 
I.M. Group is an international distributor that has been importing cars into the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia for over 30 years.
 
The existing marketing campaigns of the company were time consuming and inconsistent, hence it recognized the need for a stronger CRM system for dealer-based lead generation and online marketing activity.
 
The marketers at I.M. Group will now get combined strengths of smartANALYZER and smartREPORTER by smartFOCUS. These solutions will offer it the capability to probe and segment marketing data at their desktop, conduct “hands-on” analysis, and create sophisticated reports.


 
smartANALYZER and smartREPORTER enable marketers to analyse large volumes of customer, product and transactional data, which allows complex data to be easily analysed and generate summaries with the high speed, high-volume data server.


 
Deploying these solutions by smartFOCUS, I.M. Group will be able to offer a better overall experience to its customers by creating highly focused campaigns, resulting in less ‘redundant’ correspondence and strengthening key relationships. Also, it will enable the company to plan and tailor targeted campaigns that will increase the number of responses.
 
Andrew Edmiston, managing director of I.M. Group said that the automotive sector is extremely competitive and as a niche player it is vital that the company continually finds new ways to better understand its market.
 
Edmiston noted that I.M.Group chose smartFOCUS because of its impressive track record of being able to deliver complex integrated customer centric solutions to budget and timescale and having a solution that will help the company to further add value to its customer relationships.
 
Steve Klin, european sales director at smartFOCUS commented that with its plans for growth, it is crucial for I.M. Group that it operates with a single customer view and is able to efficiently manage and measure marketing effectiveness.
