OmniVue Hits'Record' Sales, Customer Expansion
 TMCnet Contributing Editor
OmniVue, a vendor of accounting, financial and customer management products, has announced “record sales and customer expansion” for its on-site and on-demand Microsoft ( News - Alert) Dynamics accounting and customer relationship management (CRM) products and services.
The company has seen 200 percent customer growth for its hosted products, year-over-year, company officials say, while total company revenue grew 30 percent.
It seems that the Microsoft Gold certification the company got in May, reported by TMCnet, really is the business-booster the company expected it to be.
OmniVue Business Solutions officials at the time said the firm achieved Gold Certification in the Advanced Infrastructure Hosting Solutions Competency from Microsoft, a designation recognizing proficiency in delivering hosted services built on Microsoft technology.
This added to the Hosting competency to their existing Business Solutions competency achieved in 2003.
Explaining exactly what they designation means to the company, Jeff Pyden, managing director of OmniVue, said at the time the Advanced Infrastructure Solutions Competency “allows us to identify our skill in helping customers access business management products.”
OmniVue offers hosted deployments of Microsoft Dynamics GP (formerly Great Plains), SL (formerly Solomon) and Microsoft CRM.
“In today’s credit markets, small and mid-sized companies want greater management over their accounting information and sales forecasting systems so they can better control their business,” said Pyden.
Last year OmniVue introduced the option of Microsoft Dynamics on-demand, a hosted product licensed through a monthly subscription. OmniVue’s on-demand product has accounted for 75 percent of its new hosted clients located throughout the United States.
OmniVue claims its hosted products have “a 100 percent retention rate,” company officials say, adding that 35 percent of its new customers were already operating Microsoft Dynamics products and chose OmniVue as its provider of choice for professional services or hosting.
Founded in 2003, OmniVue is based in metro Atlanta, Georgia.
