China Mobile Selects MyClick's Photo-Matching, Digital Content, CRM Solution

Mobile image matching provider MyClick Media reportedly has been chosen by China Mobile to make its Pavilion innovative and interactive at an event in Macau this month.
MyClick ( News - Alert), a mobile marketing image recognition company, delivers technology that can merge photo-matching, digital content and customer relationship management. This capability provides mobile phone users with one-click access to content and services.
“MyClick image matching technology gives visitors with instant one click access to get more information in a simple, fun, engaging and interactive way,” said Justin Tsang ( News - Alert), chief technical officer of MyClick.
During the event, visitors to China Mobile’s Pavilion can choose to click on any of the 50-plus photos displayed. Once the visitor’s link on their chosen photo, they automatically get linked to the story behind each photo from the Beijing Olympics 2008.
Visitors will also be able to obtain the speech from Executive Director and Vice President Lu Xiangdong, in text and video at the GSMA Mobile Asia Congress if they click on the China Mobile logo. According to MyClick Media’s ( News - Alert) officials, this particular service is available at the Congress and beyond. The companies are also offering a 1GB USB jump drive on a first come, first served basis to people who use the MyClick service.
In a related news, the MyClick platform has been selected by Shanghai Volkswagen to promote its brand new car model, Lavida, through a Mobile WAP site and MMS. The partnership will help the automobile manufacturer deliver a unique brand experience to consumers, reach end users with instant services as well as build up its own user base by establishing a new mobile platform.
MyClick will aid Shanghai Volkswagen in providing an interactive platform for mobile users to access real time information about the Guangzhou Auto Show by simply clicking their mobile phone camera.
