AtTask, Boomi Offer Bundled SaaS Integration
 TMCnet Contributing Editor
AtTask and Boomi reportedly have partnered to provide bundled integration as part of AtTask’s project and portfolio management software.
AtTask is a provider of PPM ( News - Alert) software, while Boomi offers on-demand integration. Under the partnership, Boomi AtomSphere will allow AtTask to integrate with Software as a Service and legacy applications from the cloud.
AtomSphere is an integration platform-as-a-service that enables independent software vendors and developers to embed integration architecture into their applications and connect to the network of interconnected SaaS ( News - Alert), PaaS, on-premise, and cloud computing environments using a self-service model.
The companies believe that the integration will solve the integration challenge, enabling organizations to maximize their resources and increase the return on investment of their software investments.
“Easy integration with AtTask makes any business-critical application more efficient,” said Scott Johnson, chief executive officer at AtTask.
Johnson said that combining an organization’s productivity and financial software provides business leaders all the business intelligence they need to make key decisions in one place.
Also, according to Johnson, organizations can integrate with applications such as SAP ( News - Alert), Oracle, NetSuite, and Salesforce in “a matter of minutes.”
Nate Bowler, CTO at AtTask, said that AtTask has immediate interoperability with all the other applications in the AtomSphere network by taking advantage of Boomi’s “connect once--integrate everywhere” architecture.
Once the common integration processes is built and deployed throughout the AtTask customer base, officials said that this saves a considerable amount of time during implementation.
Also, AtomSphere dynamically manages integration with both standard and customized implementations.
“By embedding Boomi’s advanced integration architecture in its software services, AtTask gains significant competitive advantage over solutions that rely on conventional third-party integration products and delivers exceptional value to its end customers,” said Bob Moul, chief executive officer at Boomi.
Earlier this year, AtTask announced the availability of the enhanced version of its @task on-demand PPM software, a platform-independent and multilingual PPM software.
