Leap to Showcase Products and Speak at Industry Event

Leap Wireless International ( News - Alert), Inc., a provider of wireless communications services, announced recently that it will be participating at an upcoming conference to present a Web cast.
The webcast replay will be available approximately one hour after the live webcast ends and will be accessible for a limited period of time following the conference.
Additionally, Doug Hutcheson, president and CEO at Leap and Walter Berger, will be speaking during the fireside chat discussion.
Founded in 1998, Leap offers its wireless service under the brand named Cricket. The Company owns and operates a 3G digital wireless network that operates on Code Division Multiple Access, or “CDMA2000,” 1X EvDO Rev 0/A technology covering approximately 91 million potential customers.
Leap and its joint ventures operate in 35 states and the District of Columbia and hold licenses in 35 of the top 50 U.S. markets. Through its affordable, flat-rate service plans, Cricket offers customers a choice of unlimited voice, text, high-speed data and mobile Web services.
Back in November 27, 2009, Cricket Communications ( News - Alert), Inc, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Leap Wireless International, Inc., launched the Cricket MSGM8 phone. This compact bar QWERTY phone with one-touch connecting for access to messaging and email, scheduler and MyHomeScreen for favorite social networking sites, sports, weather, news, and more on Cricket’s 3G network.
