ZipList's New Free Online Shopping List Service Makes Meal Planning and Grocery Shopping Easier

ZipList, a free online shopping list and recipe service, has launched a free online shopping list and recipe service that helps shoppers get in and out of supermarkets faster -- and also saves them money.

 

ZipList users can arrange their lists according to an aisle or store to optimize the efficiency of their shopping trips, while also saving costs by avoiding impulsive purchases and having more organized grocery trips.

 

ZipList enables users to share their grocery lists with anyone they choose, update their lists online or by e-mail, instant message or text, and even sort their lists by aisle or store. With this new service users can also search through an extensive database of over 100,000 recipes and add the ingredients for each one to their shopping lists with a click or two. Users can also save all their recipes from the web into one universal recipe box.

 

ZipList has also announced a strategic collaboration with Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. to include the new ZipList service into all recipes on MarthaStewart.com.

 

Users will now be able to find an “ Add to ZipList” tab near the recipes on the site which will enable users to add the ingredients to a shopping list or save the recipes to a central recipe box. Powered by ZipList’s technology platform, users can look for recipes, receive daily alerts with recipe ideas, and also add meal ingredients to their weekly shopping lists. The app, based on MSLO’s Everyday Food magazine which is linked up with www.ziplist.com which enables shared users to have access to latest list.

 

Geoff Allen, founder and CEO of ZipList, Inc. stated that with Ziplists’ new service family members can share their list, add ingredients for the week’s dinners and also access the updated lists from any cell phone on spontaneous trips to the grocery store which is something consumers have been wanting for to make the weekly shopping trips more cost and time saving.
