NuMobile and Nova Plan a Webcast to Update on African WiFi Project
Nova Energy, Inc., a company that has been pursuing several business lines in the growing economy of East Africa, including Kenya, is scheduledto release an on-demand Webcast on March 18. The Webcast, to be conducted by interim CEO Philip Verges, will include the latest updates on the company's WiFi (News - Alert) project in Kenya.
Nova is working in partnership with NuMobile, Inc., a provider of security and software solutions for the global mobile computing and smartphone market, to build a wireless broadband network that can support local utility authorities.
The scheduled Webcast will also include an overview of a recent $1 million funding commitment to support Nova's business plan expansion in East Africa. Also will be a presentation of the company's trade mission to Kenya next week to explore opportunities to implement an affordable housing initiative.
Nova official also claim that the company has already begun several initiatives in Kenya region to include initiatives in the Technology, Utility, Housing and Health products industries. Alternatively, the company has also launched a communications and awareness campaign.
A link to the Webcast will be posted on the company's corporate Web site upon release.
NuMobile is also planning to acquire and develop mobile computing solutions for a variety of applications, including mobile banking, for the global marketplace. Already in North America, the company has also forged a partnership in the Chinese market and is developing a plan for the emerging economies of Latin America and East Africa.
